KI BOIS COMMUNITY RELIEF PROGRAM

JOB TITLE:  CDBG-CV OUTREACH WORKER - FT (McAlester)
JOB SUMMARY:  The Outreach Worker will provide all direct services and related activities, including interviews, completion of forms, and communication with landlords, mortgage companies and utility companies, preparation of packets for payment, tracking, data entry and reporting.   
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  High School Diploma, or the equivalent along with basic computer knowledge.  Excellent organizational skills, as well as proficient communication skills.  Ability to exercise tact and discretion.  Individual should be knowledgeable of area resources and available services.  Requires some local travel. 

KI BOIS HOUSING PROGRAM

JOB TITLE:  WEATHERIZATION WORKER – FT (Program Service Area)
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have professional building skills and/or basic carpentry knowledge and possess ability to train others.  Have an interest in social programs.  Must lift up to 75 lbs. and be able to climb ladders, work off scaffolds and roofs, and be able to bend and stoop.  Must be able to attend all required meetings and trainings.

KI BOIS DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

JOB TITLE:  PROGRAM COORDINATOR – FT (1-Ardmore and 1-McAlester)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor's Degree and one (1) year of experience or six (6) years of experience working with people with disabilities.  Program Coordinator must be able to exercise patience, understanding, creativity and flexibility.  PC must have supervisory, organizational and excellent communication skills.  A valid OK driver's license along with safe and reliable transportation also required. Must be able to complete any required/requested training and able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

JOB TITLE:  HABILITATION TRAINING SPECIALIST - PT/FT (Stigler GROUP HOMES)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Will serve as direct support staff for consumers.  Ability to handle sensitive issues while protecting others’ welfare.  Able to exercise patience, understanding, creativity and flexibility.  HS Diploma/GED, valid DL and auto insurance.  Must complete Foundation, CPR and First Aid Training (and any other training as required/requested.) Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

JOB TITLE:  HABILITATION TRAINING SPECIALIST - PT/FT (Stigler, Poteau, McAlester, Wilburton, Ada, Ardmore, Pauls Valley and Sulphur)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Will serve as direct support staff for consumers.  Ability to handle sensitive issues while protecting others’ welfare.  Able to exercise patience, understanding, creativity and flexibility.  HS Diploma/GED, valid DL and auto insurance.  Must complete Foundation, CPR and First Aid Training (and any other training as required/requested.) Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

KI BOIS AREA TRANSIT PROGRAM

JOB TITLE:  TRANSIT DRIVERS   (Please verify current openings with local transit office.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Maintain a valid driver’s license.  Good driving record. Must be physically able to assist passengers and their belongings while entering and exiting the vehicles.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and provide wheel chair assistance.  Should have knowledge of area resources and live within convenient distance of city where job opening is available.
