JOB TITLE:  SHALLOW SUBSIDY CASE MANAGER – 2 FT (Muskogee and Ada)
JOB EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  Bachelor’s Degree from accredited University required. Preferably in Social Services, Management or Leadership.  Case Management experience preferred.
JOB SUMMARY:  This position will be responsible for providing Shallow Subsidy (SS) case management services to Veteran Families and will liaison with area resources, develop housing stability plans for participants, process temporary financial assistance, serve as an advocate to landlords, maintain case files and prepare required data and reports.

JOB SUMMARY:  The Employment Specialist assists Veterans enrolled in the SSVF program with finding employment to ensure long term stability in alignment with the mission of the SSVF program.  They work with Veterans to help locate suitable employment, submit applications and prepare for work to ensure long term housing stability and reduce recidivism to conditions of homelessness.  (Grant-funded position with continuance of position based on length of grant opportunity.)

JOB TITLE:  OFFICE ASSISTANT – PT Temp (Muskogee)
JOB EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  High school diploma or GED, computer skills (Word, Excel, Adobe), good communication skills, ability to maintain knowledge of policies and procedures, and able to be flexible and function under stressful situations.
JOB SUMMARY:  This position will assist and support current SSVF program staff in working with veteran families.  Primary tasks include, but are not limited to greeting, directing and giving information to veterans, answer phones and routine questions.  Take initial veteran referral by phone, maintain supplies/inventory, enter and retrieve data and other administrative and supportive duties as identified and assigned.  (Grant-funded position with continuance of position based on length of grant opportunity.)

KI BOIS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SHELTER

JOB TITLE: DAYTIME ADVOCATE-FT (McAlester Domestic Violence Shelter) - 8:00AM-4:00PM
Job Requirements: HS Diploma/GED, valid driver's license required. Applicant should have interest or experience in crisis intervention, basic computer skills, ability to listen effectively and assist with problem solving, self-motivated, good communication skills (written and verbal), ability to be supportive of persons in crisis and sensitive to confidential issues. On-site training provided. 

KI BOIS DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES

JOB TITLE:  HABILITATION TRAINING SPECIALIST - PT/FT (Stigler GROUP HOMES)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Will serve as direct support staff for consumers.  Ability to handle sensitive issues while protecting others’ welfare.  Able to exercise patience, understanding, creativity and flexibility.  HS Diploma/GED, valid DL and auto insurance.  Must complete Foundation, CPR and First Aid Training (and any other training as required/requested.) Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

JOB TITLE:  HABILITATION TRAINING SPECIALIST - PT/FT (Stigler, Poteau, McAlester, Wilburton, Ada, Ardmore, Pauls Valley and Sulphur)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Will serve as direct support staff for consumers.  Ability to handle sensitive issues while protecting others’ welfare.  Able to exercise patience, understanding, creativity and flexibility.  HS Diploma/GED, valid DL and auto insurance.  Must complete Foundation, CPR and First Aid Training (and any other training as required/requested.) Able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.

KI BOIS AREA TRANSIT PROGRAM

JOB TITLE:  TRANSIT DRIVERS   (Please verify current openings with local transit office.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  Maintain a valid driver’s license.  Good driving record. Must be physically able to assist passengers and their belongings while entering and exiting the vehicles.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and provide wheel chair assistance.  Should have knowledge of area resources and live within convenient distance of city where job opening is available.
