Rx for Oklahoma helps Oklahomans access prescription assistance programs provided by pharmaceutical companies. Rx for Oklahoma staff will take your information including name, age, address, income, as well as prescription(s) needed and dosage(s).

The Child and Adult Care Food Program is a federal food program that provides money for serving nutritious meals to children enrolled in licensed family day care homes.

KI BOIS Community Care Program helps consumers stay healthy, safe and independent in their own homes and communities. KI BOIS Community Care is a certified Advantage Case Management Provider serving 21 counties in southeastern Oklahoma.

This program will assist families with past due utility payments, past due rent and food. KI BOIS Community Action also operates food pantries in LeFlore, Latimer and Sequoyah Counties.

Haskell and Latimer County offices serve as the Salvation Army Unit for their respective County.

The VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) Program provides income tax preparation assistance. We also help determine if they are eligible to receive the Earned Income Tax Credit. We prepare a simple tax form and then E-File it for you. This program is free for anyone who qualifies.

Foster Grandparents age 60 and above help children with special and exceptional needs: educational, social, emotional and/or physical. Foster Grandparents assist in local organizations -- including faith-based groups, Head Start Centers, schools, and other youth facilities. They help children learn to read, provide one-on-one tutoring, and guide children at a critical time in their lives.

The primary purpose of the KI BOIS Community Action Women's Shelter and McAlester Care Center is to provide a 24-hour safe house for women and children in threat of physical violence.

The HALT (Haskell and Latimer Tobacco) Project is a collaborative effort between Haskell and Latimer Counties, made possible by a Community of Excellence grant from the Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust or TSET. The mission of the HALT Project is to HALT the influence of the tobacco industry, to support community members in their effort to HALT tobacco use, to encourage youth to never start and to work towards a tobacco free environment for Haskell and Latimer County.
